Memory Care
Memory Care is for those who are struggling with significant memory loss, cognitive decline and other forms of dementia. Our Memory Care program is known as Reflections. On our Historic Mesa, Phoenix and Surprise campuses, Reflections is a separate unit within our Assisted Living building, The Oasis. On our Mesa campus, Reflections memory care is provided in a separate building on the property.
What all of these locations have in common, is they provide an environment that is as welcoming and comforting as it is safe. We offer a program of activities to help residents remain connected and engaged. Our certified caregivers have an in-depth knowledge of the specific needs of those with memory impairment, providing both patience and compassion to help your loved one feel understood. We take a person-centered approach to caring for our residents with dementia, by focusing on their daily comfort and anticipating their needs rather than responding to them.
Memory Support
With common areas designed to provide specific activities and socialization for enhancing memory, the memory care area is designed to ensure the safety, support and security of all residents.
Our Activities staff is dedicated to providing meaningful experiences to keep your loved ones engaged and content. We work with the families to develop personal care plans for each resident, so we can understand the resident’s needs and help them thrive.
Skilled Staff
Reflections’ trained staff recognizes what may cause undue stress and then quickly implements the appropriate solution such as music memories, pet therapy, aromatherapy, balance, and therapeutic exercises and many more. Many staff members are certified by the NCCDP and are trained as professionals in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care.
All the caregivers serve our residents with patience and compassion to provide your loved one with memory support. Since Memory Care residents are sometimes unable to recognize danger, summon assistance or make basic care decisions, they receive Directed Care services.
Level 3 Direct Care
In Directed Care, our certified caregivers provide a higher level of assistance with activities of daily living such as ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, selecting menu items in the dining room, and medication management.
Services
Our program of activities, organized by activity staff specially trained to work in memory care, include cooking, brain teasers, musical entertainment and games designed to keep residents’ minds healthy and help them maintain socialization and activity.
Residents in memory care enjoy the same amenities as those provided for residents at The Oasis Assisted Living, with the enhanced services and activities that Direct Care provides. - Scheduled transportation

- 3 meals plus snack daily

- Beauty/barber shop (fee applies, also available for family use)
- “It’s Never 2 Late” program that allows residents to engage and connect to information which helps with cognitive stimulation and increased socialization
Affordable Assisted Living
Since its founding in 1979, Christian Care has strived to maintain a high-quality community environment while still remaining affordable.
